Dorsal rays 10 to 12; anal 12 or 13; pectoral with first z rays undivided, first 1⁄2 second, second third, fin reaching caudal base; ventral longer than head. Drab giay above, be- low silvery white. Dorsal dusky. Caudal and anal whitish. Paired fins blackish, pectoral edges whitish. Ventral edges pale. Length 275 mm.
